Mail from Vincent Lamorella, a good friend and neighbour of John:
Hi Kristof,
My name is Vincent Lamorella and I am 83 years old. I grew up with John Cangiano during the Depression years of 1931 until he went to the army in 1940s. During our growing up years we played together and did things like peeling lima beans at the farmers market and digging scrap iron at a wrecked auto lot, so we could have enough money to go see cowboy movies. We called John the nickname "DILLY" and he was about 4 years older than the rest of us kids. He was always smiling and helped us ride bycicles and ride sleds in the winter.
